Nigeria and China are taking their agricultural cooperation to the next level, with a focus on modernizing Nigeria’s agricultural sector
A key project driving this collaboration is the $200 million National Integrated Poultry Development Project, which kicked off in Kaduna State. This ambitious initiative aims to boost poultry production, reduce costs, and enhance the overall competitiveness of Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

The project is expected to generate over $450 million annually and create 350,000 jobs, making it a significant contributor to Nigeria’s economic growth. The collaboration involves technical cooperation, investment commitments, and technology transfer from China, leveraging China’s expertise in livestock and poultry production to enhance food security and export competitiveness
