Dayo Thomas is the Managing Director and Chief Editor of Agric News Digest. He is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in newspaper and online media.

He possesses an impressive background that combines education and extensive experience in the media industry. He’s an alumnus of the University of Jos and China Foreign Affairs University, Beijing.

Dayo Thomas is a man of many passions and talents. From his early days in his village, Ponyan, Yagba-Esdt, kogi Stste, he has developed a very strong work ethics.

From studying Political Science, at the University of Jos, he developed a keen sense of activism and unionism, which has driven his career in journalism, politics, and community development.

As a journalist, Dayo has worked with numerous media outlets, including THISDAY newspaper, Punch newspaper, African Mail, The Capitol, National Interest, Investment Journal, and The Week Magazine. His experience spans various roles, from Assistant Editor to chief correspondent, reporter, and researcher, covering agriculture, politics, health, sports, science, technology, education, and more.

Dayo’s passion for positive impact extends beyond journalism. He served as Senior Legislative Aide to former Senate President Senator David Mark and as Director-General of the Kogi State Governorship Campaign for Ambassador Aisha Audu Emenje. He also worked with the International Centre for Community Development as Director of Research.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Dayo is a Pastor and philanthropist, dedicated to community development and empowerment.

He is a Farmer and publisher of AgricNews Digest, promoting agriculture and sustainability.
