Farmers and Other Depositors of Defunct Heritage Bank to Receive Payments Soon

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has assured depositors of the defunct Heritage Bank, including farmers, that payment of their insured deposits will commence soon.

The NDIC, in a bid to ease concerns, emphasized its commitment to ensuring prompt reimbursement. In addition to insured deposits, the corporation is collaborating with the bank to facilitate the payment of uninsured deposits, further demonstrating its dedication to safeguarding depositors’ interests.
