2026 Nigerian Cashew Day Conference to enhance sector growth, investment
The National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN) has announced that the 2026 Nigerian Cashew Day Conference will focus on unlocking new opportunities for farmers, investors and other stakeholders, while advancing national interest and sustainable growth in the cashew industry.
In a statement signed by its National President, Dr Ojo Joseph Ajanaku, the association said its national executive committee, in collaboration with state chapters, is fully aligned and committed to delivering a landmark conference capable of driving reforms and long-term value across the sector.
NCAN said the conference is expected to bring together cashew farmers, processors, exporters, investors and development partners, serving as a platform to strengthen collaboration along the entire value chain.
The event is scheduled to take place from January 22 to 24, 2026, at the Shehu Musa Ya’Adua Centre in Abuja.
According to the association, discussions and resolutions from the conference are expected to contribute significantly to improved productivity, increased investment flows and enhanced market competitiveness in Nigeria’s cashew sector.
NCAN also expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their continued trust and engagement, noting that their participation remains vital to achieving sustainable growth in the industry.
The association assured local and international partners that the outcomes of the conference would be impactful and worthwhile, reiterating that the collective advancement of Nigeria’s cashew sector remains its top priority.
