Surge in broom demand reported in states joining APC

Demand for brooms has surged in states where governors have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). In Enugu, broom sales reportedly tripled after Governor Peter Mbah joined the APC, with sellers increasing prices to N700 from N500.

Similarly, in Cross River State, the APC reportedly ordered three million bunches of brooms to meet growing demand following the defection of Governor Ben Ayade to the party.

Other states where broom sales have reportedly increased include Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Kano, following the defection of governors to the APC. The broom is the symbol of the APC, representing the party’s commitment to sweeping away corruption and promoting development.
