Mega Dairy Cattle Ranches Head to Ogun as Tinubu Backs Abiodun’s Agricultural Drive

President Bola Tinubu has thrown his weight behind Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun’s agricultural initiatives, with mega dairy cattle ranches set to be established in the state. This move is part of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aiming to boost food security and create jobs.
The Nigerian government has introduced various incentives to attract agricultural investment, including single-window platforms for land registration, strengthened agricultural credit systems, large-scale mechanization, and strategic irrigation projects. These efforts aim to lift 35 million Nigerians out of poverty, create 21 million full-time jobs, and secure national food and nutrition sufficiency
The European Union has also committed to investing over 80 million euros in value chain development across seven states, supporting Nigeria’s agricultural growth
