Sterling Bank to Host 2024 Agriculture Summit Africa

Sterling Bank has announced the 2024 edition of its Agriculture Summit Africa (ASA), one of Sub-Saharan Africa’s leading agribusiness conferences, set to be held from November 11-12 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.

The summit, themed “Transitioning from Scarcity to Security,” will focus on tackling critical food security challenges while uncovering growth opportunities within the African agricultural sector.

This year’s summit, according to Femi Majekodunmi, Head of Agric Risk Management at Sterling Bank, is expected to bring together leaders and stakeholders from both the private and public sectors, alongside agribusiness experts, to chart a sustainable path for Africa’s agricultural future.

Since its inception, ASA has welcomed over 15,000 participants, joining both in-person and virtually, from more than 35 countries.

The event will feature engaging workshops, panel discussions with industry thought leaders, and networking sessions designed to foster meaningful partnerships. A “Deal Room” session will also be available, offering attendees the chance to catalyze strategic investments.

Participants are encouraged to register online at www.agricsummit.org. The event begins each day at 10:00 AM, with registration required to confirm attendance via email to Femi Majekodunmi at Femi.majekodunmi@sterling.ng.
